Monika, I was in line at Target and the guy couldnt figure anything out. I had nonfood items but you can ring it all as 1 transaction and it will say whats not included. He kept seperating everything and making things so much harder/much longer than they had to. Although I’ve discovered how ridiculously different people react or treat you when you drive up in even the most basic BMW, I wanted it simply because I thought the Germans made a superior vehicle more value for the buck.
At this point I became very frustrated. We have a BMW and so I took it to the nearest service for help and they were baffled. In the end they told me to go to a fire station. So I went to our local station, the man there really tried hard to get it in and again it just wasn’t working.

The first time I tried to go fast, I got to right at 50.01, and I know there a lot I can improve. I won almost half a second in the first turn (but then messed it up in the second and third, I can seem to get those right).70 hours isn really that much, I personally have clocked in over 500 hours in AC and I still suck mostly.
It probably will. The base is there for your convenience. If you use a seatbelt, you’ll just have to fasten/unfasten everytime you take baby out. You might decide that’s not a deal breaker. The carseat that wouldn’t fit in our car just couldn’t be made tight enough and couldn’t sit upright. If you made a sudden stop, the carseat would easily tilt backwards and baby would faceplant into the back of the seat. We tried everything, and I mean everything towels, pool noodles, etc. Everyone was sure I was installing it wrong, but sure enough, not even the experts could do it. Now it works great as a forward facing seat in my mom’s car.
Then I would get an awd suv/van that seats six as your second car, and trade out cars with him for the season. I just really don’t think it will add up to be worth having a special rwd bmw for summer, that you can’t even fit the whole family in if needed as a back up car.

Since trying an electric car in 2013 (a Smart ED of all things) I have never looked back. I am on my 6th electric car now, a Tesla Model S P100D. All the gas cars feel like a different century to me. Nostalgic antiques like steam trains, fax machines, and AOL. Huffing and puffing with all the heat and noise. A Rube Goldberg machine that wastes a lot of resources. It’s not just Tesla. I felt the same way about the Smart ED and our BMW i3. Tesla has just taken it the furthest without the legacy of 100 years of history and existing encumbrances. A true disruptor.
Maybe that where we went wrong. We haven looked at those, just the german ones. That makes sense though, we both drive Japanese cars now and we LOVE them. SO reliable, SO cheap to service, and the luxury features are on par with the 2013 BMW she had (but probably not what they offer now).We also started to rethink how we spend our money too, now that we a little older.

I prefer to buy well built, well sorted packages that are OEM tier: Ohlins, Bilstein, etc. It why I bought an R35 GT R. And a 991 GT3. I know I know. It would be “easy” to build something faster if I were a “real” car guy right? Maybe with some Googling I could figure it out and show Porsche and Nissan engineers how it’s done? Perhaps. But suspension engineering isn my thing. And if I were to go aftermarket, I like to buy OEM grade parts with strong company backing. So far that doesn’t exist for Tesla.
