Yeah the concerns I have lie in the basics. For example, there’s discussion on TMC about things like the steering wheel not being straight at “neutral” on many 3s. To most people this is a small detail. Many may never notice. But to me, as someone who cares a lot about driving and precision, that would be an issue. So if SCs say it’s not a big deal, and owners say it’s not a big deal, all because the product isn’t aimed at enthusiasts, then that’s a potentially greater issue. The performance model comes with Michelin pilot sports 4s tires and they are needed that car is a freakin rocket even in the turns. That car is not a one trick pony, it is a full blown track ready car but can also drive like a normal family sedan without sacrifice. The fully self driving is not out yet but there are already features exclusive to having purchased it. Autopilot has been getting noticeable updates about every week or two. You also are correct but more Inline with my thinking. For example the ZF8 transmission is in every bmw in the line up from suv to M5. It’s a nice commuter transmission but doesn’t have any business being in the M5 IMO. But bmw made ZFs biggest transmission purchase in the companies history to you can imagine the discount on a per unit basis for that.

We have two Diono Radian RXTs and I’m not sure what the third carseat is. I’m thinking a Graco or Safety 1st? All three are across in the backseat. One Radian is forward facing my 3 year old on the passenger side, the other Radian is rear facing in the middle for the baby and the third car seat (which will not be in there all the time) is forward facing his 2.5 year old on the driver side.
