Phone featuresOnce your phone is paired correctly to the vehicle and you have your Sync account activated, you can use all the Sync and services. One of the phone services that is not compatible with my particular phone is the text messaging. The Sync system will read your text messages aloud to you if it is compatible with your phone. Refer to the website for a list of compatible text messaging phones. I know that most of the Motorola Razr phones are compatible with the text messaging feature.

Does anyone have suggestions for good, fuel efficient winter vehicles? And is owning two vehicles worth it for the large amount of fuel savings (keeping in mind we’re in Ontario where gas/diesel is more expensive, although prices haven’tbeen too bad as of late!) We already spend about $600 a month on fuel as it is, we live in a small town and have to drive 40+ min to get anywhere.

Concepts like that should be easy for anyone who had a job to see. Just look at the efficiencies at your workplace and calculate how much time is wasted. Now apply that to the entire economy and see why our problems are not solvable by a one sentence economics strategies pushed by basically every candidate ever.

Kawasaki would rather stay and dominate WSBK with Rea and the ZX 10R. Also MotoGP is much more expensive to become competitive in than WSBK. If I recall properly, there is a cap on how much work that can be done with their production motorcycles. I think it is 250k? That’s pennies compared to a prototype engine, chassis, and hiring engineering teams for the spec electronics hardware/software.Also considering the funds available for Kawasaki vs Honda, Yamaha, Ducati, Suzuki, etc, Kawasaki HQ sees WSBK domination a better ROI than becoming midpack in MotoGP for more than four times the cost of WSBK.BMW just doesn’t care for racing as much as it’s fellow manufacturers.

Warhol collaborated with a variety of people in his projects, and liked to surround himself with bohemian eccentrics. Andy Warhol was openly gay at a time when few admitted to being gay. David Bowie admits to being influenced by Warhol, and during the 1970’s, Warhol concentrated on portrait paintings of celebrities. Warhol was the founder of Interview Magazine, and his studio in New York, called The Factory, was a great meeting place for intellectuals, play rights, drag queens, wealthy patrons, and his much loved celebrities. dollars in 1963. He loved to party at Studio 54 and other spots where the elite loved to play. A lot of people called him a “business artist,” but Andy Warhol had a deep love affair with glamour, and sometimes even glamorous people use the same products regular people do.

I need REAL advice/suggestions on a carseat for our first LO. I though that after months of research we’d found our perfect infant seat. The Britax Chaperone. but two things now force us to regroup: 1 its the only seat that Britax now makes in China ( though we will still go with the Boulevard for our next seat, since its super safe 100% made in the US, but too big for an infant )

Subaru WRX: The WRX was a bit pricy for this list, but it makes it to the honorable mention list due to the great performance and rally heritage offered by the ’90s Subaru sports sedan/wagon. With a turbocharged flat 4 and Subaru’s legendary AWD system, the WRX will be quick on any surface and is relatively easy to modify for more power.

It’s not just that it’s on one screen. The Hearthstone UI and animations are brilliant and under appreciated in terms of how they help with understandability. Consider the animation when a new card is drawn, for example. It comes out and at the apex of its arc, it slows down quite a bit. That combined with a strong preference for brief card text makes it easy to read as it’s drawn. Same when your opponent plays a card: the card flips over for and hangs above the board for a few seconds so you can read it.

On the Tesla you need things like wipers, alignments, filters, tire rotation, brake fluid, battery coolant. From what I understand, one should expect a battery coolant service visit to run in the $450 650 range every 4yrs. Anyway, those were the kinds of things that went into the maintenance cost estimates.

Someone eventually pays for it.It was, as the experts here knew, the 12V battery. Replaced on warranty, and all is well.Lingering issue is the battery died in 30 months and 8500 miles. If that an expected life, I hope there a source for non OEM batteries at some point. Near as I can tell, no one else sells a battery that fits/works in the i3.Otherwise, this is a great car.

But as I said I never driven it so I not sure. Both are fairly even matched in terms of pace though.I just hijacking this post here to make a quick point for anyone else who is considering jumping into GTE first;Have you ever done multiclass racing before? If the answer to this is no, then you should not be in a faster class until you are competent at driving in the slowest class, IMO.There a lot of people in iLMS who jump into the GTE class after racing in IMSA without having experienced a faster class before, which leads to.

This is a stunning car, especially for a relatively small manufacturer price. It’s fast, handles well, is super fun to drive, and is very rare. You could build a basic one up for $55,000 but if you want something to compete with the fastest in the world, look to spend $80,000+.

Plus, I’ve had a fascination with all things German for quite some time. German was my college major for a couple years, back when I thought of being a UN interpreter. I have (or had) family living in Germany, and I have backpacked through the cities there. I thought I would live there one day. I heard angels sing when I stood in the Olympic Village and gazed upon the four cylindrical pillars of BMW Headquarters in Munich.

Decide what car seats you want before you buy the car. That way you can actually take a seat with you and install it and test it out in the car. Much easier to fit the car to the seat than the seat to the car (although it’s ok either way). Check out leg room most infant seats take up a decent amount of front to back room because of the recline needed for an infant seat.

Idea 8: Teens Make Money by Buying and Selling ItemsIf a teen or child is a thrifty shopper, this might just be the job for him or her. bfakn.club This gig requires a passion for shopping, the ability to know which things people will want to buy, and the ability to find steals and deals. The items can be found in several thrifty places such as:

Usually, in vehicles that have a hatchback style trunk (with an open seat back) you will find the anchor on the back of the seat and sometimes in the ceiling (for the middle seat position). If the trunk is closed, you typically find the anchor spot behind the headrest. I know you will be tired, but installing the seat properly is very important. If the person picking you up doesn’t know whet to find the anchors in their vehicle, ask them to look it up in their manual as soon as they can.

But there was still more to this Cup of extremes. When the teams’ two boats appeared on the water the sailing public drew breath. Two of the biggest, most advanced multihulls that the sailing world had ever seen suddenly changed the mood among Cup followers. At last, the conversation switched from the frustration of complex court hearings, to that of the prospect of a spectacular battle of two behemoths on the water.

I searched old posts and came across a bunch with the BMW X3 and Diono seats in 3 across, but I need RF (rear facing) seat outboard for YDS. DH (dear husband) is looking at the X3 for his next vehicle, and I’m fairly certain there is nothing I can do to dissuade him. He needs to get a new car within the next month, realistically.

But it not 100% necessary if you a short distance commuter.Anything else you should worry about?Tires. They a little expensive (more than $150 per tire). Make sure the car you buy has a relatively fresh set.Range. This thing is going to get between 60 and 80 miles of range, but you won hit that 80 mark outside of perfect conditions (45mph, good weather, no AC/heat usage, eco++ mode).Realistic “safe” range under real world heavy AC/heat use is going to be closer to 60 miles.

Another that can be considered is the heater core. Usually if that is the case then the floor carpet will be getting damp or wet on the passenger side. An intake manifold leak results with water in the oil pan. One trick as a partial check for that is to look at the dip stick. If the oil is a muddy brown there is a chance there is water in the oil.

15) Beto O All talk no substance. You absolutely could tell he way out of his depth, and had to rely on stories and being relatable. That great for a House rep, OK for a Senator, absolutely not enough for President. Presidents must have past results and plan for future results and a story is far from both. He didn even bother adapting after he visibly realized his strategy wasn working and just gave up.

First said Tesla couldn do it, Next they said no one wants it. Now they have to play catchup from a 10 year lead making them not able to make a competitive car. Honestly other EV makers should be over the moon they can sell any at all. Those poor customers don know how bad of a choice they made by not going with Tesla. For all other automakers the situation is dire and getting worse for them by the day.

It was a mess I accidentally punted one off because he stopped (relatively) on the apex of a fast corner after he went up the inside. It shouldn be that way. If you slower than a GT3 in a GTE, you should be in a GT3. Driven properly, a GTE car is much faster than a GT3 car, and more challenging to drive.Thank you for the detailed response! So I guess I a little confused about IMSA.

You have to learn respect for others first. it helps you to become a better person and a person that respects rules.i bought a video that will certainly help him with this but he refuses to watch it at all. his dad and i stopped taking him out for driving lessons until he proves to us he is capable of respect for others and the responsiblity he should be capable of.

4 years ago I discovered Bogleheads and since then, I’ve followed the 3 fund passive index funds approach and turned all my attention to improving in my professional space. It turns my stomach thinking back how much more savings I would have today if had cashed out at the top or even if I just stuck to 3 fund index investing from the beginning. Today I still have over $100k in carried over cap losses I been writing off in my tax returns $3k at a time for many more years to come and I consider that tuition from the school of hard knocks and reminders of my hubris.

This doesn sound like a big thing but it a huge thing in the corners and probably the reason I keep buying BMWs. If it a pre 08 2 litre your going to be paying about 720 a year for tax I think. Your insurance will be dependant on your circumstances. The one thing I will say is to try to find out if the engine has been been mapped.

Starting in 1981 there’s the DeLorean DMC 12, which was pretty much a classic the moment it came off the line. Then in the mid 1980’s there’s the Buick Grand National (and even better the Grand National GNX). A black muscle car from Buick that is sure to be desirable well into the future.

I’d like to hear some ideas from other Hubbers. Given those criteria (15+ years old, good condition, under $20,000), what vehicle would you buy and why?Ross Kposted 8 years agoI would recommend a Mercedes E Class from 90 94. These cars were over engineered and built like tanks. Nothing like Benz’s of today.

In his later years Jung lived mostly in isolation, and many feel he missed Freud. He did go to Taos, New Mexico to visit Chief Mountain Lake of the Taos Pueblos. He also visited Eastern Africa in 1925 to try to envision “primitive psychology” in a better way. He learned that what he saw there was much like what he learned from his own life and that of those everywhere. At the end of his life, Jung became interested in UFO’s, and tried to decide if they had archetypal meaning or other psychological significance. All in all he was a very interesting man, who added much knowledge and understanding of our consciousness.

So it basically like a corolla in a bmw shell the way I look at it, you are only paying for a nice interior and a bmw badge on it. I just don see the point in buying a performance luxury car if it not sporty. It like buying a new Challenger opting for the v6 instead of the 5.7 or 6.4 392 for an extra 5 6k.

Around this time it occurs to me to just ring Nuna as there might be something wrong with the seat. They tell me that the seat isn’t compatible with the 3 series, 4 series, X1 and one I can’t remember. Well I’m shocked honestly that it wouldn’t just fit any car, especially a new car!

The car: a BMW i3. It has only two seats in the back so width isn’t an issue, but front to back size is. Also, the back doors are suicide doors, so I’ll need to be able to undo the latch connectors and pivot the seat 90 degrees to remove my child while he’s rear facing. I’m concerned that when the seat reaches its upper limits for latch and we need to switch to belt installation, it will get too difficult to operate.

Hard work. Yes. That’s exactly what success is supposed to be made of. Grit and conviction. And I’m thinking, some of those guys who are driving those BMW’s and Mercedes just have to be one of those guys. One of those guys who worked hard, who busted his ass, who got it all done, and who took on the challenge like a matador takes on a bull with grit, conviction, and a bit of risk. If not, any of us busting our asses is for moot. If not, then the idea that hard work pays is a great big lie, and I simply don’t want to believe that. I need to not believe that.

However, there is a firm that does such things as a matter of course, that finishes every car by hand and, during its 52 year history, has seldom produced more than 1,500 vehicles in any 12 month period. And, with allocations to any particular market never exceeding thelow hundreds, the chances of another of these cars pulling up beside yours are extremely small.

Meanwhile BMW has that plastic aluminum everywhere and the black plastic everything. I’d bet it’s the most plastic of the 4 brands. But don’t take my word for it. The CEO is on the verge of being fired for low profits and the answer has been lower overhead and cut motorsports.
